Dr. Phok Chrin
Head Department of GEE
“Phok Chrin was born in Kampot, Cambodia in 1981. He received his B.S. degree in Electrical and Energy Engineering from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC), Cambodia in 2005, His Master of Control Engineering from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Thailand in 2007 and his Ph. D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Toulouse Midi- Pyrénées, “Laboratoire Plasma et Conversion d’Energie (LAPLACE)” Toulouse, France in 2016. In 2007, he joined Institute of Technology of Cambodia as lecturer and then he went for PhD study after 5 years working. In November 2016, Dr. Phok Chrin joined ITC again as a lecturer-researcher. Since April 2017, he was assigned to be Deputy Head department electrical and energy engineering at ITC. 2008-2010, he joined REEPOR project as a project planer of at ITC, this project is sponsor by European Project “Promotion of the Efficiency Use of Renewable energy in Developing Countries” Since 2006, Dr Phok has published his research works in many famous IEEE conference.”
Dr. BUN Long

Dr. Bun Long received the engineering diploma in electrical and energy engineering from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia in 2004, M.Sc. degree in systems and electrical energy from Le Havre University, France in 2005 and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Grenoble University, France in 2011. He joined the Institute of Technology of Cambodia as an assistant lecturer and was appointed as head of the department since 2014.
Sreng Sokchenda

“Sokchenda Sreng received the Engineer degree in Electrical Engineering from Institut de Technologie du Cambodge, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in 2004, his M.Sc. degree in 2005, and his Ph.D. degree in 2012, both in Telecommunications and Networking from Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, Toulouse, France. From 2005 to 2009, he was with the department of Electrical Engineering, Institut de Technologie du Cambodge, where he was a lecturer. From 2009 to 2012, he worked as a Ph.D. student at Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse, Toulouse, France. He is currently a lecturer/researcher at the department of Electrical Engineering, Institut de Technologie du Cambodge. His research interests include wireless communications, satellite communications, and IoTs.”
Vannak VAI

Vannak Vai was born in Battambang, Cambodia, in 1989. He received his engineering diploma in electrical and energy engineering from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC), Cambodia, in 2012, his M.Sc. degree in electrical energy from the Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP), France, in 2013 and his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Grenoble Alpes (UGA), France, in 2017. He has been working since 2013 as lecturer/researcher in department of electrical and energy engineering, ITC.
Dr. Thourn Kosorl

Thourn Kosorl received the Engineer degree from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, Phnom Penh, Cambodia and the M.Eng. degree from the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang, Thailand, in 2007 and 2009, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan. He has been with the Department of Electrical and Energy Engineering, Institute of Technology of Cambodia as a lecturer since 2009.

Dr. Pec Rothna

Dr. Pec Rothnareceived his engineering diploma in electrical and energy engineering (option: electronics, automation, and telecommunication) from Institute of Technology of Cambodia, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the M.S. degree, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronics engineering (major: communication and signal processing) from Chung-Ang University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, in 2011, 2013, and 2017, respectively.

Jeudy Kean was born in Banteay Meanchey, Cambodia in 1991. He received the engineering diploma in electrical and energy engineering from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia in 2014, M. Eng. in Microwave and Light wave communication field from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand in 2017. He joined the Institute of Technology of Cambodia as a lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Energy Engineering since 2017.

He received the engineering diploma in electrical and energy engineering from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia in 2013, M.Sc. degree in Energy Conversion and Electrical System from University Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier, France in 2016. He currently works the Institute of Technology of Cambodia as an assistant lecturer since 2016.
