INOWASIA is an Erasmus Plus project for Capacity building in the field of higher education. INOWASIA pretends to train this new generation of young Southeast Asian water professionals with a strong and multidisciplinary background in sustainable water management, with a global view of the sector current and future challenges but with a specific approach to the local demands, and the required soft skills to join and lead the water sector market.

INOWASIA has just opened places for international student internships! The aim is to improve the capacity in research and/or to advance the career perspectives of the best MSc and PhD students from our six Universities from Laos (NUOL, SU), Cambodia (NUBB, ITC), and Vietnam (CTU, VNU-HUS). Internships, fully funded by INOWASIA, must last between 3 and 6 months and take place throughout 2023. A committee with representatives from the project consortium and the hosting institution will select the students.

INOWASIA offers twelve international student internships in leading private and public water-related institutions based in Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The mobilities are planned for 2023 among students from the Southeast Asian universities of the INOWASIA Consortium.

The grant covers the travel cost and 3.810 euros per student to cover the costs of stay.

The selection criteria will consider:

• The average marks of the Bachelor’s degree and the first MSc year (50%),
• Letter of motivation (25%)
• Personal interview with the recommended candidates (25%).
• English is compulsory.

      *Female and vulnerable students will be prioritized, covering at least 50% of the selected students.

The selection committee is made up of one representative from the sending partner university, one representative from the hosting institution, and one representative from INOWASIA’s Consortium
Apply and select up to three positions according to the topic, period, and receiving institution.
Please note that the mobility is international, therefore students cannot apply for an internship in their own country.
