Project Overview

Cambodia faces growing concerns about air pollution associated with rapid urbanization and economic development. Under the SATREPS framework, this project aims to establish a risk management platform for air pollution in Cambodia.

The project strengthens systems for monitoring and characterizing air pollution, develops an online monitoring network and data management system, establishes capacity for environmental risk assessment, and develops the human resources required to operate the platform. Through these activities, the project aims to support evidence-based policies and plans for preventing and reducing air pollution.

The risk management platform for air pollution in Cambodia is continuously operated.

Expected Outputs

A system for assessing the current status and characteristics of air pollution in Cambodia is established.
An online network of monitoring sites and a data management system are established.
