Accreditation

Three courses of the engineering degree program will be revised and then accredit during the lifetime of the ASEAN Factori 4.0 Erasmus+ partnership project. These courses are as follows:

  1. Virtual Instrumentation, year 5, option Electronic Automation in the Department of Electrical and Energy Engineering
  2. Power System Architecture and Protection, year 4, option Electrical Energy in the Department of Electrical and Energy Engineering
  3. Automation, year 4, option Industrial Engineering in the Department of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering

Tuning Approach* will be utilized for the modification process of courses. This Tuning approach consists of:

  1. A set of surveys
  2. A set of pilot projects to introduce the new content with evaluation feedback
  3. A set of training for the teacher team

By adopting the Tuning approach, the process of modifying the course content during the lifetime of the project is mainly based on the activities in the project for capacity building to train lecturers and students which are described as follows:

  • Conduct a set of surveys to identify the need of the company/industry
  • Conduct a workshop with relevant stakeholders to discuss the survey results
  • A testing phase using classical pilot project seminars for students to introduce the new content with evaluation feedback
  • Provide a set of training to lecturers by EU partner to build their capacity in teaching a new curriculum
