Kasetsart University is one of international partner universities under higher education partnership program of Higher Education Institution Project (HEIP) in order to improve the higher education teaching-learning capacity at ITC to reach both regional and international standard. The partnership program between ITC and Kasetsart University had reached at the agreement since 19 November 2019.
Based on the agreed activities plan in 2022, three ITC staffs comprise of Dr. TY Boreborey, Dr. EK Pichmony and Dr. KHOEURN Kimleang have conducted the 2nd overseas mission to Kasetsart, Bangkok, Thailand from 3 July to 6 July 2022 for the agreement of the implementation of double degree of master program Agro-industrial Engineering and visited the pilot scale of KU’s laboratory for lab setting up of Agro- industrial laboratory. This mission was warmly welcome by Assoc. Prof. Weerachet Jittanit, Assoc. Prof. Sasitorn TONGCHITPAKDEE, and Asst. Prof. Pitiya KAMONPATANA) for the visiting the KU’s pilot scale laboratory and had a detail discussion on Double Degree of Master Program ITC-KU with KU teams including Assoc. Prof. Sasitorn TONGCHITPAKDEE, Assoc. Prof. Pinthip Rumpagaporn, and Dr. Bandhita Wanikorn from the Graduate School of Kasetsart University.
The objectives of oversea mission are as follows:
- To discuss on Double Degree between ITC-KU on M-AIE program in order to reach the agreement on the implementation of double-degree between ITC-KU
- To train on Agro-industry laboratory set up at Kasetsart University which build up the capacity of ITC staff to be able to manage the agro-industrial laboratory set up for the improving program (produce lab setting up manual for M-AIE program)
