    Oversea Mission of ITC Staff Training on Learning Outcome Development and M-AIE Curriculum Improvement under Partnership Program with Kasetsart University (HEPP-HEIP)

    The partnership agreement is made on 19 November 2022 and enter into by and between Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) and Kasetsart University (KU), Thailand on the improving teaching and learning at graduate levels in Ago-Industry and enhancing research capacity of ITC researchers in the field of Food Technology and Nutrition of Higher Education Improvement Project (HEIP).

    Based on the agreed activities plan in 2022, 1st overseas mission was carried out to KU, Bangkok, Thailand from 12 to 15 June 2022 and leaded by Dr. TY Boreborey, Head Master of Agro-industrial Engineering (M-AIE); Dr. KHEOUN Kimleang, Vice-head of GCA, and Dr. EAK Pichmony, vice director of graduate school.

    From 13 June 2022 to 14 June 2022, ITC team joint training workshop with KU team (1. Assoc. Prof. Nuanwan Soonthornphisaj, 2. Assoc. Prof. Sasitorn TONGCHITPAKDEE, 3. Mr. Thanabodee, 4. Ms. Jariya Kamsalee) on “Discussion on detail activities plan and the possibility schedule for next events, and then joint another workshop on learning outcome development leaded by Assoc. Prof. Nuanwan Soonthornphisaj”. During this mission, the next activities plan and schedule were fixed with KU. PEO and PLO of M-AIE program were defined and finalized concretely. Three courses of M-AIE are selected for CLO development and applied the assessment method.

    Overseas Mission of ITC Staff on Pre-degree foundation program implementation, and International Program Management/Admin Training under Partnership Program with Curtin University (HEPP-HEIP)

    Curtin University is one of international partner universities under higher education partnership program of Higher Education Institution Project (HEIP) in order to improve the higher education teaching-learning capacity at ITC to reach both regional and international standard. The partnership program between ITC and Curtin University had reached at the agreement since 9 June 2021.

    Based on the agreed activities plan in 2022 on the building up of staff capacity, three ITC staff comprise of Dr. Bun Kimgnun, Mr. Lay Heng and Mr. Long Sovann have conducted the overseas mission to Curtin Malaysia Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia from 7 June to 11 June 2022 for comprehensive discussion on the implementation of pre-degree foundation program and program management and admin training. This mission was warmly welcome by Pro Vice Chancellor Simon Leunig and senior staff of Curtin Malaysia with fruitful discussion on the implementation of pre-degree foundation program at ITC and program management.   

    The objectives of oversea mission are as follows:

    • To finalize on the pre-degree foundation program implementation at ITC
    • To building up capacity of ITC staff in international program preparation, management and admin
    • To enhance the capacity of ITC staff in academic quality assurance and improvement, program advertisement and promotion

    Teaching Methodology and discussion for GEE lab Improvement in Motor Drive

    The partnership program between Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) and the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, and the École Nationale Supérieure d’Electrotechnique, d’Electronique, d’Informatique, d’Hydraulique et des Télécommunications (INP-ENSEEIHT) had reached at the agreement since 23 July 2022. The partnership agreement (PA) is focusing on the improving teaching and learning in the field of the electrical energy (EE), electronics and automation (EA), and Telecommunication and Network (TN).
    Based on the agreed activities plan in 2022, one of Toulouse INP Professors, Prof. Maurice Fadel was invited to ITC from 1st June 2022 to 9th June 2022 for his mission on “Teaching and learning methodology of Electrical Machine”. This overseas mission led by Dr. CHRIN Phok, Head department of Electrical and Energy Engineering (GEE); and Dr. AM Sok Chea, Vice-head of GEE with other lecturers of GEE and was conducted successfully with fruitful discussion and results.
    The objectives of his mission to ITC are:

    • Teaching Methodology on Electrical Machine for Engineering Students
    • Quality Lab Manual/management on Electrical Machine for Engineering Students
    • Identification of Lab equipment and Lab set for Electrical Machine, Motor Drive, and Power Electronic
    • Teaching Methodology on Motor Drive for Engineering Students
    • Discussion on the Department Management/ Lab Management
    • Reflexion on new GEE curriculum
    • Collaboration research

    (ITC-ភ្នំពេញ)៖ នៅថ្ងៃទី០១ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២២ ឯកឧត្តមបណ្ឌិត ប៉ូ គឹមថូ អគ្គនាយកវិទ្យាស្ថានបច្ចេកវិទ្យាកម្ពុជា (ITC) បានស្វាគមន៍យ៉ាងកក់ក្តៅចំពោះលោកជំទាវ Dr. Devyani Uttam Khobragade ឯកអគ្គរដ្ឋទូតសាធារណៈរដ្ឋឥណ្ឌា ប្រចាំព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា។ ការពិភាក្សាផ្តោតសំខាន់លើអនុស្សរណៈនៃការយោគយល់គ្នារវាង ITC និង Spio Analytic (លើផ្នែកជួសជុលបេតិកភណ្ឌ)។ បច្ចុប្បន្ននេះ នាយកដ្ឋានស្ដារបេតិកភណ្ឌមានគម្រោង «សាកល្បងសម្រាប់ការថែរក្សាប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្តតាមឌីជីថល»។ ពួកគេស្វែងរកកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការជាមួយសាកលវិទ្យាល័យជាតិក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។ ដោយសា ITC គឺជាវិទ្យាស្ថានដែលមានកេរ្តិ៍ឈ្មោះល្បីក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ដែលផលិតធនធានមនុស្សប្រកបដោយគុណភាពខ្ពស់ និងមានកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការអន្តរជាតិជាមួយសាកលវិទ្យាល័យធំៗក្នុងតំបន់ និងអន្តរជាតិ បានជា Spio Analytic មានបំណងចង់ក្លាយជាដៃគូ។ គឺតាមរយៈ MoU នេះហើយដែល Spio Analytic និង ITC អាចធ្វើការរួមគ្នាសម្រាប់ការសហការស្រាវជ្រាវ អាហារូបករណ៍ និងការបណ្តុះបណ្តាល។ ក្នុងឱកាសនេះ ស្ថានទូតឥណ្ឌាប្រចាំទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ មានសេចក្តីសោមនស្សរីករាយក្នុងការភ្ជាប់ទំនាក់ទំនងរវាង ITC ជាមួយក្រុមហ៊ុនឥណ្ឌា សម្រាប់កិច្ចសហការស្រាវជ្រាវនាពេលអនាគត។ លើសពីនេះ លោកជំទាវឯកអគ្គរដ្ឋទូតលើកទឹកចិត្តនិស្សិត ITC ឱ្យដាក់ពាក្យសុំអាហារូបករណ៍ឥណ្ឌា ជាពិសេសក្នុងវិស័យព័ត៌មានវិទ្យា។
